Nurses solve patients' problems by communicating with them effectively. All patients expect nurses to understand their problems perfectly before administering treatment to them. To do this effectively, you must know how to communicate effectively.

Apart from having excellent communication skills, nurses need to have good interpersonal skills. This is essential because they act as the link between doctors and different patients. Apart from being the link, they also need to relate properly to other nurses and staff members. Nurses are bound to deal with different patients from different races, backgrounds, communities, and demographics. You should not make assumptions based on stereotypes but on the nature of a patient’s illness. To be a good nurse, diligence should be your watchword at all times. Nurses end up working long hours sometimes. As a good nurse, you should be diligent enough to work long hours when necessary.
