Over time, sun damage can lead to premature aging, wrinkles, and even skin cancer. This is why it is important to take steps to protect your skin from the sun.

There are several things that you can do to protect your skin from sun damage as a nurse. Here are four measures you can take to protect your skin from sun damage:

Wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher

A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and long-sleeved shirts can help protect your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat will shade your face, neck, and ears from the sun. Sunglasses will protect your eyes from the sun's UV rays. Long-sleeved shirts will protect your arms and upper body from the sun. Choose clothing made from tightly woven fabrics that will block the sun's rays.
